We had a little visit this weekend from ghost and Murphy from Oakwood Dog Rescue

What a fun time we had, they came over to inspect our Christmas decorations and of course to get some cuddles.

Now for the import stuff so please keep reading!

Murphy was orignally saved from a kill shelter in Romania. He was a direct adoption but sadly this didn’t work out and after 2 years, the adopters wanted to give him up. This is where Oakwood stepped in and took him in. Poor Murphy’s skin was in awful condition when he arrived and has started treatment immediately. 

Ghost originally came to Oakwood from another rescue down south, ghost had a very happy ending because a staff member at Oakwood just couldn’t say no and adopted him last July!

Ghost is extremely friendly with other dogs and he’s worked so hard that he’s now Oakwood’s fury ambassadog and helps raise pennies for his friends that are still looking for their forever homes

This is where you guys can help, we have partnered up Oakwood to try raise some very much needed funds to make sure no dog misses out this Christmas. Just £1 per person would make a difference!

Our Christmas Charity Dogtail has been created by our Mixologist. A delicious cocktail called Boozy Biscuit served in a martini glass coated with salted caramel and Biscoff crumb. This is a decadent, creamy, vanilla Christmas treat to replicate a dog biscuit for our customers.

£2 will be donated every time a Boozy Biscuit cocktail is purchased over the Christmas period. Additionally we have a dog bed next to our Christmas tree where customers can donate essential items needed to help care and maintain the dogs at the shelter. Oakwood Dog Rescue have their very own wish list for customers to see on their website or customers can simply donate at either of our bars. Not forgetting our fund raiser in our bio!

Each Boozy Biscuit cocktail comes with a dog-tag attached. We have a voting box on both of our bars with pictures of our  “Doggo of the month” winners from April to October. Customers can simply place it in the voting box for the dog they wish to win and the winning pooch will receive a fantastic Christmas pamper-hamper from @ohmydogltd
