On Sunday 20th September we are closing the bakery and the whole Sloe lane team are running the Edinburgh Women's 10k to raise critical funds for Women's aid.

Edinburgh Women’s Aid is the lead organisation in Scotland working to end domestic abuse. They are both a children’s rights and a women’s rights organisation. They provide a range of services including; campaigning for policy changes, providing training to public and private bodies on how to respond to survivors, raising the profile of domestic abuse so it is treated as a critical threat to human life, and running Scotland's 24-Hour Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriage Helpline to ensure help is always available. They also actively support a network of 33 specialist local Women’s Aid services that directly support and provide refuge and help to women and children affected by domestic abuse.
