SMET's fundraiser for Autism NI

Deborah Smet is raising money for Autism NI (PAPA)
“Autism NI”
Autism NI is Northern Ireland’s longest serving autism charity. The charity was established 35 years ago and exists to support over 35,000 autistic people and their families across NI. Our vision is an inclusive society where autistic people can achieve their full potential.

Story

Smet Building Products Ltd is delighted to support autism NI as its Charity Partner.

This partnership will include staff getting behind fundraising activities and events throughout the year, starting with "The Big Christmas Cuppa 2025."

The team will also take an active role in the promotion of Autism Acceptance and Understanding, and continue to support the ‘Be Kind To Different Minds’ event.

This important event is held during World Autism Acceptance Week each April. It seeks to increase awareness and understanding of autism, promote autism acceptance, and build inclusivity and connectedness throughout our society.

All funds raised will go to support The Autism NI Helpline. For many autistic people, their families, and professionals, this Helpline serves as the first point of contact, both pre- and post-diagnosis. It provides vital information, guidance, and reassurance during what can be a complex and emotional journey.
