Since airstrikes on Gaza started in October 2023, at least 23,210 civilians have been killed, and more than 59,167 injured, with the figures set to increase as airstrikes continue. [Aghosh UK, Feb 2024].
An article published on the AlJazeera website on 14th February 2024 states that there have been more than 400 attacks on healthcare facilities in the Gaza Strip, including on all of its hospitals, leaving the majority non-functional. At least 374 health workers have already been killed some of these have been through targeted assassinations, and ambulances have been either destroyed or prevented from reaching their patients. Maternity care is almost non-existent and operations including C-sections have been carried out without anaesthetic. The attacks on the Palestinians have shown no signs of stopping, even after the ICJ rulings in January 2024.

Aghosh Emergency Appeal for Gaza and Palestine
We aim to raise money for a mobile health unit in Gaza.
Mobile Health Units (MHUs) are equipped with doctors, nurses, equipment and medication. MHUs can treat the sick and injured who do not have access to hospitals. [Aghosh UK]
