Story
Hi! I'm Smudge. I am approaching my 95th birthday this October (2026) and would like to do something for Severn Hospice.
In the 100 days up to my birthday, I will walk a total of 100 miles, mainly in my local area.
I am always grateful to Severn Hospice for the sensitive and personalised care that they gave to my late wife, Margaret.
I appreciate any support you are able to show. These are difficult economic times for the hospice, but also for many of us. Please only give what you can afford.
Severn Hospice is with families from the moment they're referred to its care for as long as they need it, and it does this every day, all day for anyone in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Mid Wales who needs that help.
It does this for them for free, but it is not without cost and it can't happen without you. For every £1 you donate, the hospice will spend 84p directly on care – and use the remaining 16p to make another £1.
Last year, all those individual donations meant the hospice could be there when it mattered for 3,000 local families.
Thanks. I will provide updates on my progress here.
