National 3 Peaks Challenge – 24 Hours for The Great North Air Ambulance
On 29th May, 9 of us from Smurfit Westrock West Auckland are taking on the National 3 Peaks Challenge – climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa)** – all within 24 hours.
That’s around 23 miles of hiking, over 3,000 metres of ascent, and hundreds of miles of driving in between – all in one day.
We’re doing this to raise money for Great North Air Ambulance Service, an incredible charity that provides life-saving emergency care across the North of England. They rely heavily on donations to keep their helicopters flying and their critical care teams on the road.
You never know when you, your family, or someone in your community might need them. When minutes matter, they’re there.
This will be a tough challenge – physically and mentally – but it’s nothing compared to the situations the Air Ambulance teams face every single day.
If you can spare anything at all, it would mean a lot to us and will go directly towards helping save lives.
Thank you for your support.
