RACE FOR £25K for PCUK

Snap-on Tools has a long-standing charity partnership with Prostate Cancer UK.

As a brand deeply connected to industries traditionally dominated by men, Snap-on knows how important it is to break down barriers and get people talking about men's health.

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men. 1 in 8 men will get it, and if you're Black, your risk is double.

We're standing together with Prostate Cancer UK to support our dads, brothers, partners and friends — raising awareness and fundraising to help save lives.

TWO CARS. FIVE DAYS. £25,000 TO RAISE.

We've set ourselves a pretty big challenge.

We've bought two cars for under £1,000 each and we're sending them on the road for 5 days, travelling through 5 countries and completing 16 checkpoints — all in the pursuit of raising £25,000 for Prostate Cancer UK.

And, of course, there's a little competition involved...

The cars will race against each other — but it's not about who reaches the finish line first.

Nothing says careful previous owner like a completely different silver coloured front quarter panel, right? This V6 jag boasted 197bhp from new, we can tell you now with confidence someone has left a stable door open as a lot of those horses have escaped over the years. There seems to be a CD stuck the CD player we can’t get out, so I hope the team like these 12 tracks because there’s no changing!

Nothing says fresh like the gentle waft of coolant through the vents in the cabin, it’s coming from somewhere and were not particularly sure from where, best way to find out is send the team out on massive UK road trip and let them tell us, we will stick a bottle of coolant in the boot for them. One of our favourite features of this jaguar is the key, security being high on the list, sometimes the car simply doesn’t like you to have the key back, team if you’re reading this, by day 3 you’ll have worked out the magic key jiggle to get it back out the ignition, we hope…
