Story
This year's Oldbury site charity hike will see us take on a walk along the beautiful West Wales coast from Aberaeron to Aberystwyth. The route is 19 miles long, with around 2,000ft of climbing along the way.
This time round we are raising money for the amazing Options for Life charity, which was established in 1988, and is based in Sandwell, West Midlands, very close to Oldbury Site (https://www.optionsforlife.info/). They provide professional person-centred care that is tailored to meet the individual needs of adults with learning disabilities and/or autism.
The charity provides a range of services which include outreach provision, community hub based activities, drop-in sessions and accessing community activities. They support participants to increase their self-confidence, develop communication and social skills and ultimately increase their independence.
The Options for Life charity helps to give those less fortunate than ourselves a better chance in life, and we really hope that you will be able to support our efforts !!
