On 30th August 2025, I’ll be taking on the UKIM Summer Snowdon Challenge, climbing the highest mountain in Wales, to raise money for something we often take for granted: clean, safe drinking water.

In the world’s poorest regions, 90% of people don’t have access to safe water, and nearly 2,000 children die every day from illnesses caused by drinking contaminated water. Through UKIM’s Water is Life projects, the money we raise will help provide:

💧 Water hand pumps for rural families

💧 Wells for whole communities

💧 Desalination plants in places like Gaza and Lebanon

💧 Emergency water aid in disaster-hit and refugee areas

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “The best of charity is giving water to drink”.
