Story
UPDATE - We successfully completed the ascent/descent in 5-and-a-half hours yesterday morning (4/10/26). Thanks to everyone that helped during the build-up and the hike. Thanks to all those that have donated, including from people encountered during traning on Kinder Scout and during the hike on Snowdon (including the hiking girls, Joanna, and the chaps). Together we've raised a very meaningful sum for The Christie that will undoubtedly help save lives.
ORIGINAL MESSAGE: Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Directly or indirectly, most of us have been touched by the horrors of cancer. In memory of my friend Pete, and with family in mind, we want to raise funds to help The Christie Hospital to treat thousands of people every year.
In early October, I will be attempting to carry a fridge to the summit of Snowdon (and back down) via a 7.5 mile circuitous route, supported by my friends Paul and Neal who will be carrying supplies and providing moral support.
Any donation that you can afford will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Chris.
