RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Growing up in the Shetland Islands, a donation to 'Da lifeboat' was as important as life insurance.

It still beggars belief that the RNLI receives no public funds and is supported entirely by voluntary contributions. Please donate and help me to keep then on the sea doing what they do best - saving people's lives - every day of the year.
