Walk from Wrexham FC to Wigan Athletic FC · 11 April 2025

Joseph Michael Kendrick is 15 years old and has Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia, a rare genetic disorder that affects one in 60,000 new-borns. The condition is so serious that less than 500 people in the world are living with it. Joseph’s Goal has been set up to raise funds and awareness into NKH.

Story

Hi everyone, I'm lacing up my boots for a special challenge on April 11th and 12th! I'll be walking all the way from Wrexham FC to Wigan Athletic FC to raise money for the amazing charity, Joseph's Goal.

Joseph's Goal funds vital research into Non-Ketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH), a rare and devastating genetic condition. Hearing Joseph's story and the incredible work the charity does has inspired me to take on this trek.

It's going to be a tough two days covering approximately 46 miles, but knowing that every step is helping to fund crucial research will keep me going. Please consider sponsoring my walk, no matter how small the donation. Your support will make a real difference to children and families affected by NKH. Thank you so much!
