Story
Two years ago, our friend Russell tragically passed away, leaving a huge hole in the lives of everyone who knew him.
Russell was one of those rare people who made everyone feel seen. He always had a smile, a kind word, and a warmth that lifted those around him. At the school gates, he was a familiar, friendly face — always ready with a joke or a helping hand. He was truly loved by all who knew him.
Russell left behind his amazing wife Rachel and their three beautiful children. Their strength over the past two years has been nothing short of inspiring, and they remain constantly in my thoughts.
This year, we have decided to run a half marathon in Russell’s memory — to honour his life and raise awareness about mental health.
We’re supporting Mind, a charity that works tirelessly to help those struggling, to make sure no one has to face their battles alone.
If the funds raised through this run could help save even one life — could spare even one family from the heartbreak Russell’s loved ones have endured — then it would mean the world.
13.1 miles is a challenge, but it’s nothing compared to the fight so many face in silence. We will be running every step with Russell in my heart, and with hope that together, we can make a difference.
If you can donate, no matter how small, your support will go toward life-saving work — and help keep Russell’s memory alive in the most meaningful way.
Thank you so much for your love, support, and generosity.
With love and gratitude,
Naomi & Sofia
