Story
Hello! I’m Sofia, and this weekend I cut my hair to donate it to the Little Princess Trust.
The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia. They are also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.
The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters, who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.
After growing my hair to the required length, I was finally able to cut 30 cm and donate it to this amazing charity. But turning a donation into a wig needs more support, as these are expensive to make, costing around 500 to 700£ per wig. Therefore, I have set up this fundraising to help cover the costs of transforming my hair into a beautiful new wig.
If you’re able to donate, whether it’s a little or a lot, it would mean so much. Your support can help bring confidence, joy, and hope to a young person facing incredibly tough challenges.
Thank you so much for being part of this journey!
