The Salcombe Sprint Triathlon is being held on 2nd October 2022 in and around the picturesque town of Salcombe. It is supporting the work of the RNLIs Salcombe Lifeboats whose volunteer crews provide a lifesaving service along the Devon Coastline.

The sea or the prawns who will win???

The Salcombe Sprint Triathlon takes place from North Sands on the 2nd October 2022 and consists of a 700m swim, 20km cycle and a 3km trail run to finish. The event is being organised by Lets Go Velo in partnership with the Salcombe RNLI.

Each year the volunteer lifeboat crew of the Salcombe Lifeboats are called out on average 60 times to assist people in difficulties. In addition, the volunteers give hours of their own time to carryout training to ensure they are ready to handle any situation that they may be asked to respond to. None of this would be possible without the shore-based volunteers and supporters who raise the money that ensures the charity can maintain this service 24/7.

Entrants to this event are being asked to try and raise money to support the work of the Salcombe RNLI and its volunteer crew through donations from their families and friends. We hope you will be able to help support this amazing charity and their lifesaving work.
