The SoGlos team is taking part in Run Cheltenham to support our 2023 Charity of the Year, Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice, and raise money for its expert care.

Throughout the year, SoGlos is partnering with the charity to raise awareness of the incredible work it does to provide expert and compassionate palliative care as the only specialist in-patient unit in Gloucestershire.

The cost of Sue Ryder's care has increased by 20% in the last three years, while statutory funding has seen an increase of less than 3%. 

The cost of providing an hour of expert palliative care has increased from £21 to £25 per hour.
