On 20th April, our Director Ian Dunkley had planned to walk 20 miles to raise sponsorhip. As promised, once fundraising hit £200 this has gone up to £200. If we hit the £500 target he'll do 30miles!

This is part of our Soiltechnics Franklins 50 event to raise money for Northampton Hope Centre. The umbrella event is organised by Franklins Solicitors (link). In a nutshell, Franklins Solicitors LLP gave us £50 and three months to find ways of increasing it as much as we can.

We were privileged but humbled to attend the Hope Centre recently and the work they do is amazing. See their website for more information, but they help people experiencing problems of disadvantage and marginalisation, including hardship, homelessness, addiction and mental health. As well as giving practical support, they have a focus on helping people to help themselves. You only have to imagine being on the streets this time of year to understand how important this support is.
