On April 26th, 2026, we will take on the challenge of the London Marathon to raise funds for Deaf Action, an organization that has provided invaluable support to families in our community. This journey began just a year ago when we decided to transform our lives from being couch potatoes to run 5km, and now it continues as we try to become marathon runners. It’s a testament to what determination and purpose can achieve.
Deaf Action plays a crucial role in empowering individuals with hearing impairments and their families. The support they offer is not just about resources; it’s about building confidence and fostering connections within the community. We have witnessed firsthand how their work has positively impacted lives, including that of Josie’s mum who has benefited immensely from their local services.
