On Saturday 15th August, we’ll be taking part in the Soma’s Light Charity Bake-A-Thon Livestream — a 12-hour fundraising event raising money to support the development of The Peedie Retreat.

From 8:00am until 8:00pm, we’ll be live on Facebook with baking decorating from Callum’s Cakes Orkney, special guests, local musicians, fundraising challenges, prize draws and much more throughout the day.

The Peedie Retreat is a planned accessible retreat space in Orkney, that will be created to provide a peaceful place of respite and support for local people and families affected by life-changing illnesses, including cancer, multiple sclerosis and motor neurone disease.

Every donation made through this page will help Soma’s Light get closer to making The Peedie Retreat a reality, creating a place where people can take time away from the challenges they face, spend quality time with loved ones and make lasting memories in a calm and supportive environment.
