Songs for Ukraine is a project originally created by the Royal Ballet and Opera in March 2023 in response to the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Many of our choristers have been displaced by war. We see our mission in cultural diplomacy and drawing attention of the British audience to Ukraine and its ongoing fight, to its the rich and vibrant musical heritage that also needs protecting. We support Hospitallers Ukraine Aid and their paramedic volunteers who save the lives of others risking their own.
