For over 80 years, Ferne has been rescuing and re-homing animals of all kinds who need care and a second chance.

Sonia volunteers at Ferne and sees first-hand the incredible work carried out by the dedicated staff, whose compassion and commitment to the animals in their care is truly inspiring. Two years ago we adopted Kinchi, Mabel and Florence which made the charity even more special to us.

With increasing economic pressures on pet owners, the demand for animal welfare services continues to grow. Ferne receives no government funding and relies on grants and donations to continue providing their vital support to animals.
