On August 15th 2026, I will be holding an afternoon tea at the scout hut in Chelford at 2pm for the lovely charity Breast cancer now. 

Here is why:

In June 2025 after a routine mammogram,  a small cancerous growth was found on my Breast. 

After surgery to remove the growth they discovered that my indicator numbers were high, an indication that I was at risk of future reoccurrence.

So, I underwent 6 rounds of chemotherapy and 5 rounds of radiotherapy over 5 months. This left me feeling weak, fatigued and my hands and feet developed peripheral neuropathy.  I was then referred to a few workshops run by Breast Cancer Now and the information on their website was very helpful and reassuring. that helped me build some of my self - confidence and support me with my self-care and skin routines. 

As a thank you for their lovely support and care I would like to raise as much money as I can to help support  for this charity to help support others on their cancer journey.
