Story
At some point, most, if not all people will suffer from a decline in their mental health in various ways and for varying lengths of time. It is so important to try and recognise if someone is struggling. A listening ear, some support, positivity, a big hug and just letting people know that they’re seen and they’re not alone. It all helps to show that person that they are loved and their life has meaning and importance. I’ve chosen to fundraise for mind as they do so much to promote the importance of good mental health and provide resources for mental health decline which I have suffered from quite a few times in my life. I will be walking 56 miles through the month of February starting on the 1st. The last 3 miles I will be accompanied by a lovely resident from the care home I work at as she also wants to help raise money for mind. Jackie is in a wheelchair so I will be pushing her from the care home to town and back again. Please help us to raise as much as we can for this wonderful charity.
Lots of love
