Sonia's Quinceañera - The Eusebia Hope Centre

Claire Dunn is raising money for Eusebia Hope Foundation
Celebrating the birthday of Sonia Hawley

on 15 March 2026

In 2004 in Igoji, Kenya, midwife Eusebia Hope began cooking for street children, many orphaned due to HIV/AIDS. Her act of compassion became a lifeline. Though she died in 2013, her daughter Christine and trustees continue her work, giving over 50 vulnerable children food, care and hope.

Story

Sonia is celebrating her Quinceañera by sharing her joy with the children of the Eusebia Hope Centre in Igoji, Kenya.

The Centre supports around 50 vulnerable children — many orphaned or abandoned due to HIV/AIDS — providing safe shelter, education, healthcare, and daily meals. What began with one woman offering a hot meal has grown into a registered charity where children are now truly thriving. This year, 11 students earned places at top senior schools in the county.

Instead of gifts, Sonia is asking for donations to help continue this life-changing work.

Any amount you give will directly support food, school fees, medical care, and a safe place to call home.

Please consider giving and making her celebration a gift of hope.
