Story
Hey everyone!
My name’s Sophia, and I’m a uni student who loves to run and be outdoors! However, with the increasingly distressing news articles I read about civilians in conflict-stricken countries struggling to access basic human needs, I’ve come to realize that running for leisure and not survival, is such a privelege. I am beyond grateful, and I want to use my miles for something bigger than myself.
On October 12th, I will be running the Royal Parks Half Marathon as a part of the team for Chain of Hopes, a registered charity working to bring life-saving heart treatments to children in developing and war-torn countries. From Gaza, to Ukraine, to Yemen… I send my hopes and support to them with every mile I run.
If you’re able, it would mean the world if you could make a donation—big or small. Together, we can turn miles into something truly meaningful and bring care to those who need it most. ❤️
As a gesture of gratitude, I will also be matching 20% of my fundraising total at the end of October.
