Story
The Mental Health Foundation is the UKs charity for everyones mental health.
Every single day as a teacher, I see the invisible battles our young people and adults are fighting. From the overwhelming anxiety of exams and the crushing pressure to fit in, to the immense maturity of students who act as young carers for their parents—our youth are navigating an incredibly heavy world. But it isn’t just the children. I constantly see adults—parents and fellow teachers—who are silently struggling with their own mental health, desperately trying to hold everything together for the sake of everyone else. Why I am raising funds for the Mental Health Foundation:Charities like the Mental Health Foundation are an absolute lifeline. They provide the vital resources, research, and support networks that catch people before they fall. Access to their tools means the world to our community, but they cannot do it alone.By donating to this page, you are directly helping to:Deliver mental health programs in schools to build resilience early.Provide free, life-changing resources for anxious students and overwhelmed adults.Fund ground-breaking research to prevent mental health crises before they start. No one should have to mask their pain or carry their burdens in isolation. Please give whatever you can to support this incredible cause. Together, we can make sure no one has to hold it together completely on their own.Thank you so much for your generosity and support!
With prevention at the heart of what they do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.
