I'm running the Lisbon Marathon to raise vital funds for James Hopkins Trust, a charity that has deeply supported a close friend’s son (pictured top left) and countless other families across Gloucestershire.

James Hopkins Trust provides specialist care for young children who are life-limited or life-threatened—some diagnosed before birth, others in early childhood. These children often require round-the-clock care, and their families face unimaginable emotional and physical challenges.

This charity doesn’t just care for the children—it supports the whole family. It helps parents balance work, social life, and the demands of full-time care, offering respite and relief when it’s needed most.

Every donation helps provide free nursing care, emotional support, and practical help to families who are navigating the hardest journey of their lives.
