To mark my 10th year in London, I am running the Hackney Half and raising funds for Refugee Action, supporting people who haven’t had the same freedom of movement many of us take for granted.

A few years ago, I visited Calais with Care4Calais and saw firsthand what people fleeing war have to go through just to reach safety, only to be met with hostility when they arrive.

Refugee Action supports people seeking asylum with essential advice, housing support, and help navigating the system so they can rebuild their lives with dignity.
