Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The below is written by the KS3 students:

Here at Sophia High School we have chosen to help raise funds for Project Zero. Project Zero is an incredible charity which aims to save all life including ours. It is a charity which helps protect the oceans around the world. We are raising money because we believe that it is greatly important that we start to take care of our oceans because they will no longer be the same if we don’t act now. We have the power to help shape the future.

Project Zero helps to clean out the ocean to help animals survive. They are working on stopping sea levels from rising. They are working on maintaining sea temperature and they are replanting coral as it is a very important animal that helps by being in the ocean, but is going extinct.

Project Zero says “The funds raised from your generosity support our work to raise awareness and restore the ocean to health. Protecting the ocean creates healthy places for sea life to flourish, store CO2, and provide jobs and food for billions of people around the world.”

We will be hosting a talent show to showcase our talents whilst raising money for Project Zero. We are also taking part in our own individual fundraising activities, from sponsored silences, to cake sales in our local communities.

We really appreciate your donations. Thank you.
