Running the Porto Half Marathon for The PMDD Project
This year, I’m taking on the Porto Half Marathon to raise money for The PMDD Project, a charity dedicated to supporting people affected by Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD).
PMDD is a severe hormone-based mood disorder that impacts daily life, relationships, work, and mental health. Despite affecting so many people, it remains widely misunderstood and underdiagnosed. The PMDD Project works to raise awareness, provide support, and advocate for better recognition and care. Allowing women to feel seen and heard.
Every mile I run is for the women who are living with PMDD and for a future where no one has to struggle in silence. Training for a half marathon is hard with challenges faced by those living with this condition every month. But knowing I am doing it for a charity that has personally helped me in my journey since diagnosis, I hope to make myself and everyone around me proud.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, you’ll be helping The PMDD Project continue its incredible work supporting individuals, educating healthcare professionals, and campaigning for change.
Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and generosity. It truly means the world to me. Every donation and every share helps make a difference.
Let’s do this—one step at a time. 🤍
