Hi ! Thankyou for visiting our page. Me (Sophie) and my Dad John are running Middlesbrough 10k to raise money for the amazing Leo's Neonatal Charity - a charity very close to our hearts as they have supported our beautiful Edie and her parents Abby and Dan, and continue to do so.

A quick insight into Edie:

Edie suffered complications during labour which resulted in a lack of oxygen at birth and she also needed resuscitating. She spent a long, tough 3 weeks in NICU where she was very unwell.

Edie now requires input from numerous services such as physiotherapy and speech & language therapy to name a couple; however she always shows up with her gorgeous smile and shows us all what it means to be a true warrior.

So who are Leo's and what do they do?

1 in 8 babies will need neonatal care, and 1 in 4 parents will sadly lose their baby or pregnancy.

Those are huge numbers, and Leo's work tirelessly to fill the gaps that the NHS can't - No one else provides this care.

With everything from peer support, counselling, CBT, EMDR, peer led groups supporting children's development, creative journaling and more - Leo's always make sure families get the absolute best care.

Our motto is "We See You, We've Been You, We've Got You" because we know how it feels.
