On 28th June, I will be walking from Morecambe Fire Station, to Bolton le Sands Fire Station to Lancaster Fire Station back to Morecambe!

It should be around 15/20 miles in total! Depending on which is my safest route to do so! Oh, I will also be wearing Fire Kit!

I am not a Firefighter so wearing full kit is something I am not used to! I love a challenge and raising money for a charity which my husband (retained at Morecambe) may use one day is so worth it!

It will be hot, sweaty and most likely uncomfortable BUT our Firefighters wear this kit. They put themselves in dangerous positions to rescue other people wearing this kit. We should give them such a huge credit for what they endure for their communities.
