In March 2026, I am (once again) running the Cambridge Half marathon for the Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre.

I'm really proud to say that this is my third time running for CRCC.

Claire and the team at CRCC do such important work to ensure that no woman or girl subjected to sexual violence has to cope alone.

Right now, they are supporting hundreds of survivors of sexual violence and abuse whose support needs have hugely intensified due to the impacts of the pandemic, cost-of-living crisis, collapse of the Criminal Justice System and severely reduced access to statutory mental health services.

Their life-saving and life-changing services are essential for these women and girls as they struggle to maintain their well-being and capacity to cope during these difficult times.

On top of all of this, Claire and the team have always welcomed me with open arms into the CRCC Half Marathon team. It always feels like running for family! I feel so grateful and privileged to be able show my support and help ensure CRCC can be there for survivors both now and in the future.
