Story

Suicide Prevention Fundraiser - In Memory of Ben and Luke

Hello! My name is Sophie.

If you were to travel back in time and tell me that by the age of 22 I would have lost both my brothers to suicide, I never would've believed you.

Although incredibly hard to relive, this is about to become yet another family's reality.

Suicide remains the single leading cause of death for men under 50 in the UK, and every day, over 18 families lose a partner, child, sibling, or parent, to suicide. What may be another mundane day to you, is the day someone else's world falls apart.

Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) are an incredible charity who are actively fighting to bring down these statistics by challenging stereotypes, stigma, and providing life saving tools and helplines for those struggling.

This November, I will be completing the Venari Partners Challenge 2025, consisting of a 100km trek and raft across the Colombian Rainforest in a week to raise money for CALM.

This trip is entirely funded by the amazing Venari Partners, so all donations go directly to CALM. Donations of any amount will be forever appreciated.

Every penny can help save a life. And every life saved prevents another family from losing their Ben or Luke. ❤

There is always a reason to stay.
