Thanks for supporting my fundraising event. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

The scary fact is, we probably all know someone who has been affected by cancer, you hope and pray it will never affect you or anyone you love. My Father was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2022, this was devastating news for him and my family and the worry and fear you experience was unforgettable. Macmillan Cancer Support were there from day one, not only for my Father but also for me and my family. Any questions, at any time, no matter how big or small, they were there to reassure and support. This is why I am organising this Zumbathon, along with my friends - four fantastic Zumba instructors, as a way to say thank you to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Please come along and join in the fun, even if you have never done Zumba before! You do not need to have any dance experience, it is a super fun and friendly event, where you can enjoy music and routines from five Zumba instructors. As long as you have a smile on your face and your having fun, that is the main thing! And all proceeds will go towards Macmillan Cancer Support, so you will be dancing for a fantastic cause.

So the final thing I have to say is a huge thank you for supporting my event and grab your friends, family, colleagues, put on your dancing shoes and come along to Perdiswell Leisure Centre on Saturday 15th July, 2-4pm ready to shake, shimmy and salsa!
