Story
In April 2026, it will be five years since my Grandma passed away - a milestone that has inspired me to take on a big challenge in memory of both my Grandma and Grandpa.
To celebrate them, I’ve decided to run a 50km ultramarathon in support of a charity close to my heart and one I genuinely believe each and every donation will make a difference too - Mind Over Mountains.
My Grandparents were passionate about the outdoors. They climbed mountains, led their own walking group, and inspired a love of nature that lives on in me. The mountains were their happy place — and for as long as I can remember they have been mine too.
Mind Over Mountains is a charity that brings together the power of nature, mindfulness, and professional mental health support. They provide safe, supportive spaces for people to talk, walk, and heal — away from the noise of everyday life.
Mental health is something I care deeply about. Spending time in nature has helped me through grief, tough times, and also made the good days even better. That’s why I want to support a charity that’s helping others experience the same.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean so much — both to me and to those this amazing charity supports. Thank you 🩵
