I am running the London Marathon 2027 in memory of my incredibly brave, strong, funny and kind Dad, who sadly passed away in March 2026 after living with motor neurone disease.

Just four days after his funeral, I ran the Manchester Marathon 2026 in his honour. It was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but crossing the finish line reminded me why this cause means so much to me.

The MND Association is an incredible charity that supports people living with MND and their families. Their care, guidance and compassion meant the world to us throughout my dad's diagnosis, and I want to continue fundraising not only to honour his memory, but also to help other families facing the same journey.
