I'm running the Manchester Half Marathon in October 2024 in memory of my Great Nana Dot and my Great Grandad Ray. I lost my Great Nana in 2014 to cancer and she passed away in Overgate Hospice. My Great Grandad was extremely grateful for the care given to my Great Nana that he spent years volunteering and helping out at the hospice. Overgate gave my Great Grandad a purpose after losing his wife of 57 years. After recently losing my Great Grandad, I want to give back to Overgate in honour of my Nana Dot and Grandad Ray.
