Story
I’ve decided to take on this huge 26-mile challenge because Alzheimer’s has touched my family, aswell as many others. My Grampy is living with this cruel disease and is currently in hospital. Seeing people I care about change in such a sad way has been heartbreaking and difficult for my family. I am walking for him, to show him that he is loved so much , and that we are fighting for him.
I’m not doing this alone, I’m walking alongside my amazing friend Hollie, who’s Nan sadly passed away after battling Alzheimer’s. We share the same love for our grandparents, and the same determination to turn our sadness into something powerful.
This walk isn’t just about putting one foot in front of the other. It’s about raising vital funds and awareness so that fewer families have to go through what lots of families are experiencing. Every penny helps fund research, support services, and hope for a future without Alzheimer’s.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support, it means the world to us both💗🩵👣
