Story
I’m climbing Mount Kilimanjaro (the highest mountain in Africa) via the Marangu Route in 6 days. I am heading out on my own but joining a group to take on this self-funded challenge.
I’m fundraising for a charity that’s very close to my heart. My cousin Issy was diagnosed with a rare genetic mutation in her DDX3X gene. DDX3X syndrome predominantly affects females and can cause developmental delay and/or intellectual disability.
DDX3X Support UK helps individuals and families that have been affected by raising awareness, funding research, and bring families together through meet-ups. Thank you so much for any donation you’re able to give. It means a lot to me to help support the incredible work of DDX3X Support UK.
Issy, I’ll be thinking of you every step of the way!
