Story
This summer, myself and a few colleagues have decided to take on the ultra challenge in support of Birmingham Children’s Hospital, a charity we are currently working with.
I have signed myself up to the cotswolds ultimate challenge of walking 100km (60 miles) which will start on Saturday 13th June, walking through the night with the aim of finishing the full 60 miles on the Sunday (at some point!!)
I have previously taken part in other challenges for charity such as walking snowdon through the night and for those of you that know me, know that I love my walks and i am always up for a challenge; so when this opportunity presented itself, it was a no brainer whilst it also being for an amazing cause.
For a little bit of background, at Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, they believe there’s always more we can do for the children and that’s why they continuously strive to do more for the patients and families. It’s their mission to raise the vital funds needed to make a real difference to all who use their hospital.
Your support empowers them to take innovative approaches to treating some of the sickest children in the UK. Your fundraising will enable us to enable them to provide the best services and facilities they can. The importance of your donations is helping them find new ways to treat and cure childhood diseases everyday.
Therefore if you would like to support me in raising money for this amazing charity would like to donate, even just a little, it would honestly mean the world to me, thank you!!
Wish me luck!!
