140 miles along the Thames Path

Manor Mead is a special school for children aged 2 to 11 with severe / profound and complex learning difficulties or with an autisic spectrum disorder. The key aim of the school is to help all the children to achieve their full potential so they can become as independent as possible in later life.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 25th October 2024 I will be walking 140 miles along the Thames path, starting at the source of the River Thames in Gloucestershire and finishing at Manor Mead school in Shepperton.

Manor Mead school is a special school for children with severe and complex learning difficulties or with an autistic spectrum disorder.

All children at Manor Mead school access the national curriculum and are taught different life skills to support them in everyday life. We want all children to be able to enjoy every day and with your support we want to make that happen. Children at Manor mead school will have the opportunity to have a choice on what they spend the money that has been raised on. This could include sensory toys for each classroom, new equipment for the swimming pool etc.

At Manor Mead school we want to give the children the opportunities to learn, play and "make every day count".
