I am running this marathon for my daughter, she was diagnosed with type 1 at 4 years old. People have told me it’s brave to do a marathon it’s brave what every person has to do every day in order to live along side type 1 diabetes.

To my girl,

For every time you have cried about this incurable disease, I don’t have an answer to every question you have, I do however hope and pray that one day I can tell you there is a cure.
