Story
In December 2023, we lost one of the most incredible people in our lives - my wonderful, hilarious, supremely glamorous and very special Auntie Sue. 🩷
So this year I’m taking part in the London Landmarks half marathon to raise money for Dove House Hospice who looked after Sue when she needed end of life care. The staff were so good to our family, and made sure her last few days were as comfortable and peaceful as they could be. They do a wonderful job, in what must be a very challenging environment to work in. My family appreciated the kindness they showed to us and Susie so much.
Running does not come easy to me, so this is a hard challenge both physically (because of my dodgy knee and now achilles) and mentally, but I wanted to set myself something to focus on to raise money in Sue’s memory. 🕊️
Life feels very different without Sue in it, I miss her everyday, but I know she’d be proud of me for trying to do this.
I’d be so grateful of any donation, big or small, as it all goes towards a good cause. 🩷
Thank you so much, Love Soph x
