Yorkshire One Peak Challenge 2026

Sophie Jones-Tinsley is raising money for Day One Trauma Support
Our dedicated team are taking on the Yorkshire One and Three Peaks challenge on 20th June 2026. Every step they take will bring us closer to ensuring no one has to rebuild their lives alone following catastrophic injury.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!

We are taking on the One Peak Challenge to raise money for Day One Trauma support who were instrumental in supporting me after I was a pedestrian hit by a van back in April 2024. My life, and my loved one's lives, were turned upside down and I very nearly lost my life. It has been a difficult time to say the least, dealing with traumatic injuries, the implications of these (both physical and mental) and the injustice of how someone else's actions will now impact me for life. Since my accident, I call myself Sophie 2.0 - someone who is brighter, more positive and simply grateful to exist. I relish in being able to hear the birds, sip a good coffee and walk in the fresh air.

This year is also the year my partner, Isaac, and I turn 30! (with Isaac's birthday being 22nd June, only 2 days after this walk!). So, what better way to celebrate our 3rd decade on this planet, and the fact that I am still here and able to celebrate it, than climbing Pen-y-ghent! Our 3rd teammate, Megan, is our best friend and together we make a great team - the three musketeers!

We really appreciate any donation you can make and we thank you in advance for supporting a brilliant charity who help anyone affected by major physical trauma to rebuild their lives.
