Charity Bike Ride - London to Épernay- 500km · 2 July 2025

Fair Shot is a UK-registered charity (1190582) established in July 2020, based in Covent Garden, London. It was created to address the extremely high unemployment rate among young adults with learning disabilities (95%) by providing real-world training and pathways into paid employment.

Story

This July, I'm challenging myself to cycle 500km from London to Moët & Chandon, Épernay, France (yes, I'm slightly terrified & yes, the lengths I will go to for a glass of Champagne!)

You may be thinking....all the gear & no idea?

The promise of a celebratory glass (or two!) is definitely keeping me motivated. But more importantly, I'm taking on this crazy challenge to raise money for Fair Shot Café.

Fair Shot Café, does incredible work by providing training and opportunities in a workplace for young adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. They deserve a fair shot at a fulfilling career, and I want to help support make that happen. Fair Shot Café empowers young adults and provides them with the skills and confidence to thrive in the workplace.

I've seen first-hand the incredible impact they have & we are determined to help them continue their life-changing work.

I'm pushing myself to my limits (I didn't even own a bike 2 months ago) & I need your support!

Every donation, big or small, will go directly to Fair Shot Café. Please donate today & help me reach my goal!

Thank you for your generosity, it really is appreciated!
