Story
I’m going to be climbing the mighty Ben Nevis in June with a group of wonderful people and friends by my side.
This fund riser is for my mum Harriet who’s living with her brain tumour and fought her battle amazingly. My mum helped me pick this charity, they have helped her for many years with her ongoing treatments. Harriet has gone through radio therapy which didn’t shrink her tumour but it has stopped its growth! Unfortunately it can’t be operated on. We now go to 12 monthly MRI’s and has treatment from the incredible team at The Walton Centre for her pain management. Dr Frank is phenomenal with my mum always keeping her updated with every visit and tries to do her pain management treatment as quickly and painless as possible.
This is also in memory of my bio dad John Inman who sadly passed away from this brain tumour. He did have his operated and removed but tragically it came back at a fast rate.
This is a charity and fund riser close to my heart having both parents diagnosed with brain tumours and my way of showing alittle thankyou to The Walton Centre Neuro-Oncology Team which provide an amazing brain tumour service for people diagnosed with brain and central nervous system tumours.
