The Twilight Walk is The Brain Tumour Charity's biggest and most inspiring event of the year. People from across the community will unite to raise money and stride forward together towards a brighter future for everybody affected by a brain tumour.
Story
In September 2024, my life changed overnight when I suffered a seizure and was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Since then, I’ve undergone brain surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and a long road of recovery that is still ongoing.
I’m taking part in the Brain Tumour Charity Twilight Walk in London, walking 10km to raise money and awareness for everyone affected by brain tumours.
Brain tumours are one of the biggest cancer killers of children and adults under 40, yet they receive far less research funding than many other cancers. Through this challenge, I want to help support vital research, improve treatments, and ensure better support for patients and families facing this diagnosis.
There was a time when even walking short distances felt impossible, so completing this 10k is incredibly meaningful to me.
If you’re able to donate or share my page, I would be hugely grateful. Every contribution helps make a difference 🤍
