As most people will know my dad was rushed into hospital on holiday in Spain on Wednesday 8th July! Since then he has spent 16 nights in hospital with a very severe case of Pancreatitis.

At present dad is still in hospital being treated daily by an amazing team in the Costa Del Sol Hospital in Marbella!

I am running 62 miles in August to create awareness of this illness. Most of these miles will be done in Spain, and those who know me best know I hate running at the best of time never mind 30 degree heat!!

Dad was flown home on Wednesday 29th July with a medical escort after spending 16 days in hospital in Spain. Since coming home Dad has had a lot of scans and checks with the amazing NHS to make sure he is on the road to recovery, now living with only 40% of his pancreas working.
