Story
On Sunday 12th April, I’ll be running the Brighton Marathon in memory of my uncle Terry, and doing it with a smile (and probably a lot of tears along the way!).
Pilgrims Hospice cared for Terry so wonderfully and supported our whole family during a really challenging time. We’re incredibly grateful for everything they did, and this feels like a great way to give something back.
Terry was no stranger to a marathon himself, so taking this one on feels especially fitting. I’ll be thinking of him every step of the way — hopefully channelling some of his marathon spirit to get me over the finish line!
I’m aiming to raise £500 for Pilgrims Hospice to help them continue the amazing work they do for families when they need it most. Every donation, big or small, really does make a difference.
If you’re able to donate or share this page, I’d be so thankful.
Thanks so much for the support, encouragement, and generosity — it really means a lot 🥰
